Advocacy at Home

The Coronavirus Community Support Fund distributed by The National Lottery Community Fund has helped us to set up a new project called Advocacy at Home. Thanks for the government for making all this possible.

We will help stop the isolation that Coronavirus has bought to many older people in residential homes.

We support older people, aged 65+ in residential homes to have their voices heard, be listened to, be treated with dignity and respect, and have someone who speaks up for them. We provide free, independent, user-led support.

We offer regular contact either face to face or via telephone/video contact so people can discuss what is important to them.

Issues we can support with include social exclusion, finances, healthcare, complaints, housing issues & signposting to other services.
